About SathiKo Sath Nepal

SathiKo Sath Nepal, founded in November 2009, is a registered Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Nepal, affiliated with the Social Welfare Council. Recognized as a foundation by the Nepalese government, it is exempt from taxes and legal contributions. The organization operates with two official boards: the Executive Committee (SSN-EC), which acts as the local board, and the Parents' Committee, representing the parents of SkS children.

History & Background

SathiKo Sath Nepal began as a grassroots effort to help disadvantaged students access school materials and support. The early volunteers focused on local outreach and small scholarship funds.

Programs expanded to include health workshops, mentorship and partnerships with local schools. We began measuring outcomes and scaling successful initiatives.

Now we serve multiple districts, supporting hundreds of students, and are building alumni networks and vocational training pathways.
